Pelvic Health

Pelvic floor problems are far more common than most women realise — and far more treatable than many have been told. If something doesn't feel right, specialist assessment is the first step toward understanding why.

You might be experiencing:

—  Leaking when you cough, sneeze, jump or run

—  A feeling of heaviness, pressure or bulging in the pelvis

—  Urgency — needing to rush to the toilet

—  Difficulty emptying your bladder or bowel fully

—  Pain during everyday movement, exercise or sex

—  A sense that something isn't quite right, even if you can't describe it

These symptoms are common — but they are not something you simply have to accept. With the right specialist assessment and treatment, significant improvement is possible at any stage.

What Does Treatment Include?

Pelvic Floor Assessment

An assessment of pelvic floor function — including activation and coordination with the diaphragm. Please note internal pelvic floor assessment is not offered.

Treatment for Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

Hands-on treatment and a personalised rehabilitation programme to address weakness, tightness, prolapse symptoms, bladder or bowel dysfunction, or pain.

Core Rehabilitation

The pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscles work together. Treatment addresses both to restore strength, stability and function.

Return to Exercise

Guided, evidence-based support for returning to exercise — whether that's walking, running, gym, or sport — at the right pace for your body.
